is a video work co-created and edited by Michael Fink, exhibited in Tirol. The piece features a striking visual of a giant composter censer swinging incense against the backdrop of the Rosengarten. This setting adds a layer of symbolic meaning to the work, blending natural and cultural elements.

The video draws inspiration from Donna Haraway’s ideas, particularly her concepts of interconnectedness and the entanglement of humans with their environments. Haraway’s work on feminist theory and the "cyborg" concept resonates with the visual metaphor of the giant censer, emphasizing the relationship between technology, nature, and ritual. By placing this censer in front of the Rosengarten, the video intertwines these themes, offering a commentary on the intersection of ecological sustainability, traditional practices, and contemporary thought.

Flüsterbank - Sculpture, Demmin, Concrete + Steel, 10 x 10 m, built in 2021

Flüsterbank Demmin is an artistic project that combines public interaction and sound art. Located in Demmin, it features a bench designed to amplify and share whispered messages. Visitors can sit and engage in quiet communication, fostering a sense of intimacy and reflection in a public space. The project emphasizes themes of community, listening, and the power of subtle expression.

The "Flüsterbank" in Demmin, designed by Hannes Hehemann and Tim Vormbäumen as part of the art competition "Kunst im Sitzen", is an interactive seat and a powerful symbol of art as communication, remembrance, and antifacism. Built in 2021, the bench bridges past and present by reflecting on Demmin’s tragic history, particularly the events of World War II and the mass suicides of 1945. Its design allows people to whisper and be heard over a distance, emphasizing the importance of dialogue in processing history.

The bench incorporates elements of deconstructed and deformed Prussian architecture, representing the town’s historical roots and its transformation post-war. This architectural reference symbolizes the fragmentation of Demmin’s identity, echoing the cultural and historical shifts the town has endured. Through its design and symbolism, the bench actively encourages reflection on shared histories while rejecting divisive ideologies, advocating for a future built on equality, remembrance, and communication.

Platz an der Sonne, Entry for SUPERGAU Festival 2021 with Anton Sieber 

This installation can be described as a contemplative architectural intervention designed to explore humanity's complex relationship with the sun. Constructed in the Alps, the structure positions visitors on wooden, tiered platforms where they are compelled to recline and face the sun as it passes through a precisely aligned opening. The installation deliberately confronts the human instinct to avoid looking directly at the sun—a phenomenon both vital and invisible, as it is the source of all energy and life on Earth.

The work's design and temporal alignment engage with the paradox of perception: while sunlight is omnipresent, it is something we cannot observe directly. By forcing this confrontation in a controlled environment, the installation creates an experiential reflection on the limits of human vision and awareness, emphasizing our dependence on, yet inability to truly "see," the very energy that sustains us. The stark geometry, natural materials, and isolated alpine setting enhance the transient and meditative quality of the piece, making it a profound exploration of light, energy, and human perception.
